

(Anna) Frances Buchanan Hall, of Mont Belvieu, passed into God's loving arms on Saturday, February 26, 2011 after a battle with gastric cancer. Frances was known affectionately to family as Nanna. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Mont Belvieu. Frances was devoted to serving God and her family. She was loved by all who knew her.
Born October 14, 1937, in Conroe, Texas to parents Robert Henry and Thelma Buchanan, Frances graduated from Conroe High School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University where she met her husband. Frances was a long time educator at Barbers Hill ISD.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years John Lee Hall; their daughters, Lynne Hall Carameros and husband Carl, Kellee Hall Hamlin and husband Glynn, and Pennee Hall; grandchildren, Jessica, Alan, Jared, Reid, and Phillip Carameros and Ian, Stuart, and Conlee Hamlin; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Henry and Thelma Buchanan and brother, Robert Henry Buchanan, II.
Visitation with the family will be at Navarre Funeral home in Baytown from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2011, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Farris Cemetery in Richards, Texas at 1 p.m.
