

Frank had a career in the Oil Field industry, working for Halliburton and helped start Roywell Services Co. in Baytown. He had a passion for hunting and working on things. Frank loved country music. He was a member of the Sunset Playboys band in the 50’s and he loved singing and playing bass fiddle. He was a member of Old River Masonic Lodge #1442, Arabia Shrine in Houston, TX, and Baytown Shrine Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Julia Kotrla and his 12 brothers and sisters; and his wife Gladys Kotrla.
He is survived by daughters, Betty Weber and husband Paul, Elaine Swindull, Connie Clark and husband Benny; son, Robert Kotrla; grandchildren, David Weber and wife Yelleni, Danny Weber and wife Kenda, Francis Ray “ Scooter” Swindull, III, Bodie Clark and wife Krystle, Robert Clark and wife Treasia; great grandchildren, Taylor Clark, Blaize Clark,Reece Clark, Lilly Clark, Audrianna Weber, Micaela Weber, Henna Weber; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and his wonderful caregiver, Anita Booth.
Visitation will take place at Navarre Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Navarre Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cedarcrest Cemetery.
