Fred Oliver Sims III of Baytown Texas, passed away at the age of 65 on July 29, 2019. Fred moved to Baytown when he was only 8 years old. He graduated from Robert E Lee High School and attended Lee College for 4 years. Fred went on to be in the Local Carpenter Union 55 for 47 years and performed construction work. Fred was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He spent 25 years being a duck guide in Anahuac, Texas. He will be remembered as “relaxed and laidback” by those who knew him.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents; Fred and Betty Sims. He is survived by his sister; Cheryl Danna and husband John, brother; Mike Sims and wife Angie, nieces; Kala, Samantha and Lauren, great nieces; Isis, Kali, Lili and many other friends and family.
