For many years, Georgie worked as a bookkeeper working for many companies before retiring from Distribution International, then working from home doing tax returns for friends and relatives.
Georgie loved to make a good wager, whether it was playing BINGO or a quick hand of poker. She enjoyed watching sports too; the Astros and the Texans were her teams, win or lose. Georgie never met a stranger; she could travel across the state and make a friend or see someone she knew almost anywhere. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Seeing her loved ones smile was her world.
She is preceded in death by; her parents George and Loreece Pentecost; daughter Margaret Elaine Huggins; granddaughter Heather Marie Crow; great-granddaughter Shelby Leigh Crow.
She is survived by; daughter Penny Gillmore and son Kenneth Crow his wife Loretta; grandchildren Brandi Ward, Brittany Slack, Callie Hall and husband Ronnie, Tiffany Gillmore and Christian Colon, Casey Huggins and Brandon, Caleb, Jacob and wife Aidan, Emily, Isaac Switzer, Tristan Faust; great-grandchildren, Lyndzie, Dylan, BrookeLynn Ward, Alexie, Alison Colon, Vallerie, John Wesley Stevens, Dean Switzer, Caven Detwiler; sister Gwen Vinson; brother Philip Pentecost and wife Marsha.
