Harry Dean Pyron, 74, passed away peacefully at RollingBrook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center on July 30th following a 3-year battle with dementia. His parents, Cletus and Marcille Pyron, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Marcy Pyron, sons Gary Pyron and Greg Pyron, daughter in-law Alicia Pyron, grandchildren Zach Pyron and Reese Pyron.
Harry was born April 26th in Baytown and was a proud graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. His adult life was spent working in the petrochemical industry first with Lubrizol and finishing his career with Carpenter Chemical. Harry loved to coach baseball and fish while always finding time to mentor his boys. After retirement, Harry transitioned into “Pop” which produced plenty of memories for Zach and Reese. He also became the ultimate sports fan always ready to provide armchair expertise about his Astros and Texans. His colorful commentary will surely be missed.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at RollingBrook Rehabilitation and Traditions Hospice.
A celebration of Harry’s life will take place August 8, 2019 at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas, 77521. Visitation will take place from 5:30-8:00pm.
