Hayden Wayne Stephens, Sr Pineknott

Hayden Wayne Stephens, Sr ""Pineknott"" 65, of Baytown, TX was born October 8, 1948 in Lufkin, TX. He passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a U. S. Army veteran, member of the Baptist faith and the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192 as well as a retiree of ExxonMobil after 32 years of dedicated service.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ada Stephens. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stephens, daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Baldemar Garcia, sons, Hayden Stephens Jr and Heath Stephens, all of Baytown. Brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Bonnie Stephens of Diboll, sisters and brother-in-law Cora Mae and Doug Fuchs and Kathy Alexander, all of Baytown. Grandchildren, Hayden Stephens III, MaKaylah Stephens, Devin Garcia, Dylan Garcia and Easton Stephens.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services military honors and Masonic rites will be at Navarre Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Pryor officiating. Wayne will be cremated afterwards at his request.
