Ignasio “Nash” Fuentes, 65, of Baytown, Texas has passed away into the arms of our Lord on December 30, 2021. He was born in Baytown, Texas on January 28, 1956 to Pedro and Juanita Fuentes. Nash had a career working with DuPont. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Baytown. He had a passion for his Catholic faith, cooking for family, sports, crawfish boils, fishing, drawing, the beach, decorating for the holidays, dancing, capturing memories by photographing family and friends, and enjoyed a variety of music.
Nash is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Juanita Fuentes; grandparents, Ignacio and Matilde Fuentes and Manuel and Nellie Ramirez; brothers, Manuel and Benny Fuentes and niece, Levina Fuentes.
He is survived by his son Ruben and wife Monica Hurtardo. Grandkids Tristan, Alexander, and Santiago Hurtado. And his siblings, Pedro Roy Fuentes, Albert and wife Elia Fuentes, Ronnie Fuentes, Ricky Fuentes and partner Bobby, Andrew Fuentes, Angelina and husband Jose Santos, sister-in-law Norma Fuentes widow of Benny Fuentes, and Roland Fuentes; Nieces and nephews, Roy and wife Lucy Fuentes, Kariana, Kaleb and Kody Fuentes, Latrell and wife Jamie Fuentes, Nicola and Giovanna Fuentes, Allen and wife Gracie Fuentes, Cristobal and Isaac Fuentes, Yvonne, Janelle and husband Troy Dinger, Adrian and wife Rosie Fuentes, Joshua, Dominique and Joseph Fuentes, Carissa and husband Kevin Sullivan, Cowan and Mateo Sullivan, Krystal and husband Paul Rodriguez , Kash Joaquin Rodriguez , Abel Santos, Delina and husband Fernando Garza III, Sarah and Jonathan Santos, Victoria, Benny and Mireya Fuentes; aunt, Rosita Rivera; along with many, many cousins and God children.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 5-8pm with a Rosary recited at 6pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Cedar Crest Cemetery.
