

Inez Daniels Curry, 78, of Baytown passed away on August 13, 2009 in a local nursing home. She was born on February 20, 1931 in Pelly, Texas to her late parents, AP Daniels and Leoda Burgess Daniels. She was a 1947 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Lee College. A member of First Baptist Church in Baytown, she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and enjoyed working in the nursery for many years.
She worked in the medical field for 37 years. She was a life member and past president of the Social Order of Beauceants #153. She worked with Cub Scout Pack 255 and with Cub World at Camp Strake for many years. She enjoyed working with and helping people all of her life. She supported her children and grandchildren in all their activities.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years. Jack Edwin Curry; parents; son, Jack Edwin Curry Jr.; and brother, Lonnie Joe Daniels;
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Ray Roberts; son and daughter-in-law, Jackie Ray and Laurie Curry; and son, Dennis Edwin Curry; sister and brother-in-law, Dot and Scott Sitton; sister-in-law, Delores Daniels; grandchildren, Shonda Cottrell; Camie and Randy Ford; Sean and Kristen Curry; Heather, Kyle, Patrick, and Morgan Curry; great grandchildren, Jacelynn, Reese, and Zander Ford, Ashton Butler, and Delaney Curry; her beloved dog, Aggie; neices, Carol Hunt and Holly Cross; nephew, Steve Daniels.
Honoring the family as pallbearers are Sean, Kyle, and Patrick Curry, Randy Ford, Patrick Looney, and Zach Leviton.
The family wants to thank Dr. Chris Hays and staff; special family friend, Bonnie Bartel; caregiver, Sharon Jackson Andrew; Regency Hospice; and the staff of Allenbrook Nursing Home.
Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Ingram and Rev. Tommy Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
