James Jim Jordan

James ""Jim"" Jordan, 70, of Baytown was born March 13, 1941 in Providence, RI and passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at his home. He was a graduate of both Lee College and The University of Houston. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and retired from ExxonMobil with 28 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Blanche Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Melanie Jordan of Baytown; sons, Xavier Jordan and Adrian ""Nelo"" Jordan, both of Baytown; daughters, Nici Mendez of Mont Belvieu, Monica Steele of League City, and Brandy Fisher of Deer Park; brother, Charles Jordan of Liberty; grandchildren, Madison and D. J. Mendez, Jonathan, Katelyn, and Amanda Woods, and Samantha Laurendine; and great grandchildren, Audrey and Julyan Laurendine and Carlos Barbosa.

At his request, he was cremated and there will be a memorial service with military honors Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Calma officiating.
