James "Rickey" McNulty

Rick graduated in 1971 from Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, TX. He then served in the U.S. Navy 1972-1976. Soon thereafter he was employed by the Exxon Refining Company and years later retired as a self employed CWI Welding Inspector. As a young single man, Rick enjoyed his wanderlust of all things of the sea and sun and throughout his adult life enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and hunting.

Rick was predeceased by his parents, J. W. McNulty and Doris June McNulty Whitehead. Rick is survived by his wife, Carolyn Crawley McNulty of Baytown, TX; sister, Cynthia McNulty Lucia, and husband, Michael of Montgomery, TX; step-brother, Don Whitehead and wife, Karen of Sherwood, ND; nephew, Michael Lucia III and wife, Anya with children, Margaret, Elaine, Michael IV, and Frank of Dallas, TX; niece, Angela Howeth and husband, Marc with son, Mason of Orange, TX; step-daughter, Jimmie Carol Wheeler and husband, Gary of Baytown, TX; and step-son, Jerry Givens and wife, Debbie of Hamshire-Fannett. “PawPaw” was very proud of his step-grandchildren, Jared Wheeler and wife, Tanya; Colton Wheeler; Geneva Wheeler; Johnathan Stewart and wife, Sara; Justin Givens; Jacob Givens; and his 6 step-great-grandchildren. Also, Rick and Carolyn have cherished their extended family at Fisher Road Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Baytown, TX.
