Jana Kirkland Dudley, 48, of Baytown was born August 23, 1964 in Houston and passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a 1982 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School where she was a member of the drama club and she attended Lee College. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kirkland. She is survived by her son, Joell Dudley and mother, Annette Kirkland, both of Baytown; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Cheryl Kirkland, nephew, Justin Kirkland, and niece, Michelle Kirkland, all of Dayton; aunt, Lucille Quinn and cousin, Sherry Stevens, both of San Antonio; uncle, F. F. Stevens of Mobile, AL; and her best friend, Patti Rippel of Baytown.
At her request, she will be cremated and there will be no services. She wished to be remembered as she was.
