Jo Ann Shaw

Jo Ann Shaw, 88 of Baytown, Texas passed away from this life October 25, 2025 at Baytown Methodist hospital. She was born December 18, 1936 in Tatum, Texas to the late Charles E. Norris and Evon Mitchell Norris of Henderson. Jo Ann made her home in Lynchburg for 52 years. Earlier in her life she worked as a telephone operator before staying home to take care of her family and home.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Jack Garland Shaw, brother Billy Norris and wife Dora, sister Brenda Rodgers and husband Charles.

Survivors include son Charles E. Shaw and wife Kelly of Highlands, daughter Carolyn Windemiller and husband Don of Baytown, grandchildren James Shaw of Highlands, Donlan Windemiller and wife Mary of Cypress, Bryan Windemiller and wife Clara of Houston, Andrew Shaw and wife Brittany of Baytown, great grand children Emily Windemiller and Apryl Shaw. Jo Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday November 1, 2025 at 2:00 o'clock at the Waterford of Baytown, 901 W. Baker Rd, Baytown, TX.

Graveside services will be held at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Beckville, TX.

The family would like to say a word of thanks to caregivers for their support and care in her last days.
