Kenneth M. Frederick

Kenneth Marlan Frederick was born July 28, 1935, in Almena, KS, to Carl Sanford Frederick and Daisy Dyess Young. At an early age the family moved to Bend, OR. When work ran out, his father moved the family to Colleyville, TX, to work at General Dynamics.

Kenneth graduated from Grapevine High School in Tarrant County, TX, in 1953. He worked at Baird’s Bakery, General Dynamics, East Texas Motor Freight, Robertson Tank Lines and American Plant Food. He retired from American Plant Food in 1997, as Maintenance Manager over a Fleet of Trucks.

He married Barbara Rhodene Gay on Feb. 14, 1958, in Grapevine, TX. They have lived in Deer Park for over 38 years, and celebrated 52 years of marriage this year.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Gay Adams, who died March 14, 2004.

He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Talerico of Liberty, TX, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at Earthman Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Earthman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
