Keith was born to Weldon and Erma Cox, who preceded him in death. He spent his life building a legacy rooted in hard work, integrity, and genuine connection. For over 40 years, Keith owned and operated his own HVAC company, a business he poured his heart into. He took great pride in serving his community, keeping families comfortable, and doing work that mattered.
Keith was unapologetically himself. He had a way of telling you the truth whether you wanted to hear it or not and people loved him for it. He lived with honesty, humor, and heart, and his friends knew they could always count on him for a laugh, a story, or a helping hand.
Keith was married to the love of his life, Tessie Cox, for 40 years, until her passing in 2020. Their marriage was built on devotion, friendship, and faith, and those who knew them could see the deep bond they shared. Those close to Keith find comfort in knowing that he and Tessie are now together again.
Keith made the most of life on Trinity Bay, where he loved to fish and spend peaceful days by the water. He enjoyed simple pleasures—good company, good stories, and a cold beer. He cherished the times he spent with his close friends, whether it was going a walk, a trip to the casino, fishing, or just sitting down and “shootin the breeze.”
He is survived by his son, Ben Cox, and his two sisters, Yvonne Brazier and Pam Vance. He was preceded in death by his brother Lloyd Cox, and his parents Weldon and Erma.
Keith will be remembered for his big personality, his loyalty, and his love for the people around him. His big laugh will surely be missed.
