Lillie A. Burroughs

Lillie A. Burroughs, 90, of Baytown was born December 11, 1919 in Spring, TX and passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at her home. She was a former member of Second Baptist Church where she was in the Naomi Sunday school class and was a current member of Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Adult 7, Ladies 2 Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Howard Roys Burroughs and son, Gene Paul Burroughs. She is survived by her sons, Robert Howard Burroughs and wife Becky, Richard R. Burroughs and wife Nancy and Gary Wayne Burroughs and wife Juanice; grandchildren, Robert Howard Burroughs, Jr. and wife Susan, Rory Schaffer Burroughs, Ray Warren Burroughs and wife Gina, Jared Dale Burroughs and wife Lindsay, Brett Alan Burroughs and wife Cara, Bryan Marks Burroughs and wife Donna, Chad Lynn Burroughs and wife Nicole and Todd William Burroughs and wife Tamara; granddaughters, Becky Ann Horner and husband Jack, Jennifer Rene Townson and Angie Rene Martinez; step granddaughters, Barbara Joanne Wallace and husband Matt and Deborah Dianne Baria; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, special friends and neighbors, Mary Bolmanskie, Juanice and Buddy Redell and their son Dustin McGee and Carl Betts, and members of her Sunday school classes at Second Baptist Church and Memorial Baptist Church.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Roberts H. Burroughs, Jr., Ray Warren Burroughs, Jared Dale Burroughs, Rory Schaeffer Burroughs, Jackie A. Horner and Bryan Mark Burroughs.
