Lonnie lived life to the fullest, always quick-witted and ready to share a laugh. He was a friend to many, the life of the party, and a man who truly knew how to have a good time. Lonnie was a proud father and deeply loved his girls, especially his devoted wife, Andi, whom he married on June 27, 1980. Their story began when they were just 16 years old, with their first date kicking off as a funny prank—a moment that set the tone for a lifetime of laughter and love. They were best friends, partners in every sense, and Lonnie always knew how to make Andi laugh, even in the toughest moments. Together, they shared nearly 45 years of marriage and 50 years of beautiful memories. She was his forever partner, and he was hers.
Known as Popo, his love for his family extended to his grandchildren, Ivy, Luke, and Penelope. He loved watching his family grow, alongside Gamma, cherishing every moment spent with them.
A devoted employee of ExxonMobil, Lonnie worked tirelessly throughout his career and retired after decades of hard work.
Above all, Lonnie was a man of faith who loved the Lord and embodied a zest for life that was both wild and inspiring. He had a deep appreciation for the simple joys, whether it was savoring whiskey on ice or enjoying a good cigar at his cabin in the woods—his personal oasis. Fiercely loyal and an incredible daddy who would jump through fire for his daughters, Lonnie enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
In honor of Lonnie’s memory, the family asks that everyone embrace life with laughter, love, and a good time, just as he always did. Lonnie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
