

Born on July 1st, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, at Methodist hospital. Marco Arturo Escobedo was the 3rd of 4 children, following his twin brother, Joe Escobedo. He lived on and off in Dallas until his death on April 12, 2022. Marco lived in Dallas, Corpus Cristi, and New York City throughout his life.
His parents are Gloria Esthela Garza and Jose Thomas Escobedo. Marco was raised in the Catholic Church where he received the sacraments of Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation. As a result, he began his education at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. He continued to attend the following schools: Reinhardt Middle School, Flour Bluff High School, Garland High School, Richland College, and Remington College. Marco earned an Associate degree in Business and Hotel Management from Richland College and later completed his Bachelor's degree at Remington College in Business Administration.
Before graduating with his Bachelor's degree, Marco began his career as a bartender at Park Suites Hotel. He quickly worked his way up to hotel manager where he continued to work at Parks Suites Hotel and eventually the Omni Hotel. In addition, he worked in restaurant management for restaurants such as Tanoshii Ramen + Bar, California Pizza Kitchen, and others.
Marco was a dedicated, enthusiastic, funny, caring, and free-spirited individual. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing, sports, music, and taking advantage of the experiences life had to offer. Marco loved to attend concerts throughout his life, as he was a huge fan of Heavy Metal, Rock, and Alternative music. Marco also enjoyed fishing at the lake with his friends from a young age. Marco loved life and, as a result, his memorial should be a celebration of his life and a moment for those who knew and loved him to reflect on the memories we share with him. He is gone from this Earth but the moments we shared with him will live forever in our hearts.
He is survived by; his mother and father Gloria Esthela Garza Jose Thomas Escobedo; sister Lisa Escobedo, brothers Joe Escobedo and John Paul Escobedo; nieces Kyle Dorrell, Gianna Escobedo and Ximena Escobedo; nephews Joe Escobedo and John Paul Escobedo II.
