I have many fond memories with Aunt Margaret.  She was a fun and very giving person.  When my Mom, her sister Grace, was ill and passed away, Margaret came to stay with us and took such good care of Mom and me throughout the months long illness.  She was a steady, loving and comforting presence.  She was strong for us, despite her own grief with losing a sister.  I so appreciate that time that she gave us.  After Mom passed away, Margaret became a second mom to me.  We had many visits and long phone conversations over the years about everything from the serious to silly.  She always lifted my spirits.  She (and Rufus) kept in touch and took an interest and delight in my children.  I am so grateful that we had her in our lives for the time we did.  Margaret, I love you.  I will miss you dearly, our visits, talks and laughing with you.   Love,  Maureen  

Margaret was a dear part of my life. I am honored to be her godson. She laughed easily, teased easily, and was my late-night phone call companion. In the last 10 years or so, I am happy we (along with Rufus) became much closer.  
Throughout the years the Honeycutt residence in TX was a second home. Margaret nursed me back to health on occasion, made Rufus buy all the food she thought I’d like, and held down the fort in spite of our hi jinx. We bonded over cats and snacks. 
I love her deeply and wish her soul and spirit a nice journey and that it find peace. RIP Margaret.

I have many fond memories of my Aunt Margaret from my visits to Texas and her visits to the Berkshires. From the Zoo , to NASA to Rudy’s to introducing her to “my kind of music “ and dancing in her kitchen . I loved her and will miss her and cherish my time with her always . She is definitely in good hands up in heaven now though and pain free ! ♥️

Dear Rufus,
I am sorry for the loss of your funny and energetic wife, Margaret.  I enjoyed the little time I spent with her at your home during various times. She is at peace following many years of physical challenges. She was a courageous fighter.

My only sister in law. One of the finest person you could have met. She loved people and they loved her. A major family member, and and will be remembered at all family functions.

Margaret was my Sister-in-law for 58 years. We have had so many great memories. She was funny, loving, giving and always supportive to me. I love her so much, but I know she is at peace and painfree in Gods Arms. Praise the Lord.
