Maria De Jesus Garza

Maria was preceded by her loving husband of 57 years, Antonio Garza Hinojosa. They were married in Matamoros, Tamps. on June 6, 1959. She was also preceded by her loving parents and siblings. Maria was a custodian at Lee College for many years.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Jose Antonio Garza, Norma Alicia Garza, Dora (Fernando) Gomez, Miguel (Elizabeth) Garza, Blanca (Israel) Sandoval, Lupe (Cristy) Garza, Maria Magdalena Garza, Jesse (Anna) Garza, Luis (Irisabeth) Garza and Juan (Isabel) Garza.

Maria is also lovingly remembered by her 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and sister, Pura Garza Medina, and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life beginning at 5:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
