She was born and grew up in Baytown and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High school. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Baytown most of her life and was one of the church’s oldest members. She was a volunteer for 25 years at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital.
Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe C. Hazelwood, Jr.
She is survived by her second husband, Gerald Hollaway; two sons, Mike Hazelwood and Rick Hazelwood and wife Marcia, a daughter, Marianne Kadlic and husband Paul; stepchildren, Linda Westerfeld and husband Charlie, Judy Humphrey and husband Dennis, and Lawrence Hollaway; grandchildren, Clay Kadlic, Katy McDermott, Ian Hazelwood, and Kelly Campbell; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Bobbie Jean Norris, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 12:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3900 N. Main St., Baytown, TX 77521.
