Mary Jo Williams

Mary Jo was born in Houston, Texas on December 9, 1934. As a child, she resided in Houston and was raised in Wesleco. She married Frank Williams with whom she raised three children in Channelview, TX. She was employed by US Steel in the corporate office as an administrative assistant. Later, she was employed by Lockheed Martin in Clear Lake from where she retired in 2002. Following her retirement she did volunteer work and worked part time at the Art Museum in Clear Lake. In her later years she moved to Baytown Texas to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Mary Jo enjoyed reading, gardening and crossword puzzles. She loved to listen to Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett and enjoyed going to see Tony Bennett in concert in Houston with her daughter.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edith Thomas; and her Husband, Frances Marcus Williams.

She is survived by her children, Robin Knight and husband, Frank, Patrick Michael Williams and wife Dana and Richard Allen Williams and wife Jo; her sister, Patricia Ogura; brothers, Charles Thomas and wife Gloria,, and Walter Thomas and wife Marsha; grandchildren, Jason Noble and wife, Eva, Lindsey Williams, Katie Chapman and fiancée Brian Green, Michael Williams, Billy Jo Williams, Morgan Williams, Marcus Williams and Jennifer Williams; great-grandchildren, Jerik Alonzo, Alana Noble, Mia Lopez, and Jordan Mendoza.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 8:00-9:00 a.m. with a funeral services to follow at 9:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sterling-White Cemetery in Highlands TX.
