Mickey June Duke

Mickey June Duke, 73, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2017. Mickey was born in El Campo, TX, on October 10, 1944 to the late Dessie Marie and Felton Baker. She grew up in Pelly, TX, was a long-time resident of Baytown and lived in Dayton, TX for the last two years. Mickey loved spending time with her family and taking care of her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Ace Shepherd and Ronald Duke; her son, Dwayne Shepherd; sisters, Eva Jean Baker and Della Marie Robinson; and brothers, John Baker, Irvin Baker and Jack Baker.

She is survived by her son, Darryl Shepherd and partner Kimberly Hawk, of Baytown; daughter, Robin Graves and husband John, of Dayton; grandchildren, Crystal Pollard, of Moss Hill, Michael Shepherd, of Point Blank, Joshua Shepherd, of Baytown, Chelsey Stringer and Haley Graves, of Dayton; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Darryl Shepherd, John Graves, Michael Stringer, Stephen Juarez, Chris Hebrank and Stephen W. Hillhouse. Honorary pallbearer will be Leonard E. Hillhouse.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 am with a time for visitation beginning at 9:00 am at Earthman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
