September 23, 2022. She was born in Huffman, TX on July 24, 1930 to Oscar and Lucy Jones.
Jackie was a Homemaker, Mom and Granny deluxe! She was a member of First Baptist Church Highlands, for 72 years, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. Jackie loved and enjoyed her family, church, friends and fellowship.
She was preceded in death by: The love of her life, Doug “Gote” Adams; Son, Donnie Adams; and Daughter, Becky Urban.
She is survived by: Son, Jeff Adams and his wife Karen; Grandsons, Donnie Adams and his wife Ruthie, Jon Adams and his wife Hope, JD Adams and his wife Jami; Granddaughters, Heather Louvier and her husband Brandon, Ashley Coburn and her husband Blake; 11 Great Grandchildren, Ezra Adams, Ethan Adams, Brayden Coburn, Jaxson Adams, Tristyn Coburn, Emmie Adams, Anniston Louvier, Eli Adams, Adley Louvier, Gavyn Coburn, Ozzy Adams, Baby Adams – On the way; Her “adopted” son, Rogers Simmons and wife Lisa; Granddaughters, Alicia Chapman and her husband Kyle, Kristi Thompson and her husband Corbett, Janell Simmons; 3 Great Grandchildren, Bella & Cooper Chapman, and Preston Thompson.
The family would also like to thank and show love and appreciation to her around the clock caretakers: Debbie Matocha, Tera Walker, Leticia Lopez, Gwen Carter, and from Harbor Hospice: Dee, Connie, Chaplin Donnie, and the caretakers wanted to say a special thank you to Daisy.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral Service will be held at 11am, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at First Baptist Church Highlands, 210 N. Magnolia St., Highlands, TX 77562. Private family interment will be held at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
Pallbearers will be: Donnie Adams, Jon Adams, JD Adams, Brandon Louvier, Blake Coburn, Jerry Jones, and Rogers Simmons.
