Otilia Carralez

Otilia Carralez, born on February 24, 1935, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2025, at the age of 90. A charismatic and loud, full-of-life individual, Otilia was a beloved presence to all who knew her.

She was a devout Catholic who loved to sing all day, every day. Otilia's passions included dancing the mambo, singing, and telling jokes, activities that brought joy to her and those around her. Her vibrant personality and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

Otilia was deeply devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent with her daughters and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Maria Elena, Maria Del Carmen, Laura Margarita, Cecilia, Isidra Patricia, and Josefina. She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Otilia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carralez, and her sons, Rafael and Ricardo.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, located at 1134 Beech St, Baytown, TX 77520, on July 25, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Visitation will take place at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521, on the same day from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, followed by a Rosary from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Otilia's final words, "Hasta la vista baby," encapsulate her lively spirit and the joy she brought to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Otilia Carralez, nacida el 24 de febrero de 1935, se fue con el Señor el 18 de julio de 2025, a la edad de 90 años. Una persona carismática y llena de vida, Otilia fue una presencia querida para todos los que la conocieron.

Era una devota católica que amaba cantar todo el día, todos los días. Las pasiones de Otilia incluían bailar mambo, cantar y contar chistes, actividades que le traían alegría a ella y a quienes la rodeaban. Su personalidad vibrante y su entusiasmo por la vida dejaron una impresión duradera en todos los que conoció.

Otilia estaba profundamente dedicada a su familia, atesorando cada momento pasado con sus hijas y nietos. Le sobreviven sus hijas Maria Elena, Maria Del Carmen, Laura Margarita, Cecilia, Isidra Patricia y Josefina. También deja atrás a 22 nietos y 32 bisnietos. Otilia fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo, Richard Carralez, y sus hijos, Rafael y Ricardo.
