

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Ramsey Edenfield; daughters, Amber, 10, Kayla, 6 and Breanna, 5. Also surviving is his mother, Angela Jane Thomson of Hendersonville; father, Rick Green of Sewanee; sisters, Cynthia Green and Melissa Green; brother, Travis Green; maternal grandfather, and maternal grandfather Rev. Rogers Thomson of Shoreacres, TX, Chaplain, Regency Hospice, Baytown, TX and Herman Green of Sewanee.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Phenie Green of Sewanee and maternal grandmother, Sheila Gae Spencer of Layton, Utah.
Mr. Green was a descendant of Col. John Donelson, co-founder of the city of Nashville as well as several families who floated to Nashville on flat-bottom boats in the Donelson Flotilla of 1780.
He ancestor, John Livingston Hadley was founder of the Tennessee Antiquarian Society, now known as the Tennessee Historical Society.
Hadley was also founder of the medical department of the University of Nashville, now known as Vanderbilt University.
He was a member of The Freedom Church of Hendersonville soon to be in their new home on Harris Lane.
Funeral services were Monday, March 6, 2006 at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home with Pastor Terrell Somerville and Rev. H. Rogers Thomson officiating. Interment was at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to The Freedom Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2477, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
