

Robert Wilson Floyd, 93, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Longview. He was born November 7, 1923 in Pelly to his late parents, Andrew Brenning Floyd, Sr. and Gertrude Griffin Floyd.
Mr. Floyd was a lifelong resident of the Baytown area, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1942, was a member of First Baptist Church in Baytown for 80 years, retired from Exxon after 42 years of service and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Lanxon Floyd and his brothers, Andrew Brenning Floyd, Jr. and Johny Floyd.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Uletta Timmins Floyd; daughter, Elizabeth Bunting and her husband, Robert; daughter-in-law, Lesa Floyd Schwartz and her husband, Bob; grandchildren, Lindsay Nordyke and her husband, David, Macky Bunting and his wife, Jessica, Taylor Floyd and his wife, Alexandria, Stacy Zook and her husband, Drew and Joshua Bunting and his wife, Ashley; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Lou Elam and her husband, John and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Navarre Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston with Rev. Bill Yowell officiating.
Pallbearers will be Macky Bunting, Taylor Floyd, Joshua Bunting, David Nordyke, Drew Zook, Robert Bunting and Bob Schwartz.
