

Ron Folks, 64, of Kemah, TX was born October 14, 1945 in Clinton, OK and passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010. He graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. He retired from Conoco with 32 years of service and then went to work for TDS in Houston for 6 years. He loved boating and dogs and he was a college football fanatic, but his passion was photography and his grandchildren. He was a member of the Professional Photographers Association of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Esther Folks. He is survived by his soul mate, Linda Solook of Kemah, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Steve Wojcik of Perry, OK and Christy and Craig Harp of Harrison, AR; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Scott Riggenbach of Vinita, OK; grandchildren, Jake and Sage Wojcik and Cortney, Emily and Regan Harp; nieces and nephews, Jeff and Dwana Riggenbach and Jennifer and Randy Luce, all of Tulsa, OK; and extended family, Ricky and Janet Tucker and their children, all of Baytown, TX and Steven and Joanne Leskovjan and their children, all of Crosby, TX.
His family will receive friends at the Memorial Baptist Church Chapel, 600 W. Sterling Ave., Baytown, TX 77520 Saturday, June 12, 2010 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to start at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Mark Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Barry Hardy, Don Taylor, John Wilson, Ken Davenport, Phil Starks and Jerry Hinson.
