

Mr. Roy E. Mann, age 84, of Baytown, TX passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in the Westminster House in Kingwood. He was born February 10, 1922 in Indianola, MS. He retired from Exxon Refinery in 1978. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart during the Battle of the Bulge. He was a lifetime member of the Baytown VFW Post 912.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lanny E. Mann and 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and his parents. He s survived by his wife, Bobbie J. Mann of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Jack Meason of Kingwood; grandchildren, Trey Hanson and wife Susan of Baytown and Brianna Chamberlain of Heath, OH; and great grandchildren, Ethan, Elijah, and Canaan Hanson, all of Baytown and Ally Chamberlain of Heath, OH.
Serving as pallbearers will be Freddie Garner, Damon Briggs, Matt Briggs, Mark Flanagan, Jimmy Romero, Pleas Evans, and James U. Broumley.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, April 14, 2006 at 12 Noon at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Goodell officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery with military honors.
