Sherwin Roden, 52, of Houston, formerly Baytown, was born November 18, 1954 in Houston and passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007 in a Houston hospital. He attended Robert E. Lee High School and Lee College and was a self employed political strategist. He loved jazz and enjoyed traveling, especially to New Orleans, New York, Washington, DC, and Seattle, WA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Royce Roden and is survived by his wife, Carlene Wagner of Houston; mother, Irene Fulcher of Mont Belvieu; sisters, Katrinka Roden of Shamrock and Candace Bowman of Pearland; and nieces and nephews, Zoranna Polasek of Mont Belvieu and Elizabeth, Robert, and James Bowman, all of Pearland.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. He will be cremated afterwards and there will be no funeral.
