Shirley Virginia Allen Ulrich went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2015, at age 71. Shirley was born on March 12, 1943. She was an Eastern Star-Past Worthy Matron-Highlands Chapter member. She raised miniature horses and was a state instructor for hair dressers. She was also a member of 1st Methodist in Shepherd, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Mae and Ross Allen; brothers, Jerry Allen and Roy Allen.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome Ulrich; 5 daughters; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; 1 brother; and numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Earthman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chapel of the Pines Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be friends of the family.
