Tennie Elizabeth Rhame

Tennie Elizabeth Rhame, 89, of Baytown, formerly Songwood, was born December 24, 1917 in Ora, TX and passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007 at home. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a mall walker and a terrific cook who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Vera Hooker and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jonita and Barry Zinz of Horseshoe Bay, Kay and Jack Tillitson of Baytown, and Suzie and Mike Reeves of Conroe; sisters and brother-in-law, Margie DeMare of New Caney and Yvonne and Bob Fowler of Huntsville; brother, Carl Youngblood of Baytown; eleven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Corinth Cemetery near Timpson with her nephews Bill Hooker and Jim Hooker officiating.
