

Timmie Jean Lindsey, 94, of Highlands, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Born on October 12, 1931, in Houston, Texas, Timmie was the daughter of Alton and Anna Bell (Golden) Simmons.
Timmie was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Lindsey, Donald Edward Hutton, Janeth Lindsey, Bill David Lindsey, Larry Hutton, Cynthia Hutton, Leroy Hutton, and Elizabeth (Hutton) Moyers. She is survived by her brother Toby Simmons, daughter, Peggy (Hutton) Moffett, stepdaughter, Sherry Avaritt, and stepson, Eddie Lindsey; her grandchildren, Dawson Moyers, Douglas Moyers, Donna DuPont, Ronnie Mack Moffett, Kevin Moffett, Michelle Ellisor, Derek Hutton, Jeremey Hutton, Nathan Hutton, Matthew Hutton, Jessica Cardenas, Don Sandefer, Tedra Lindsey, Blinda Windham, William Hodges, and Dustin Lindsey. Timmie leaves behind numerous beloved great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Timmie lived a life full of good times, challenging times, and times of loss but she never lost her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Timmie also dedicated her life and focused on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her generosity and willingness to listen, to care, and to help anyone in need. Timmie will certainly be missed by those who knew her and the depth of her life.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the RollingBrook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Heritage Hospice, and to all the staff, nurses, and caregivers who took care of her until the end.
