Walter Allen Kirk, 62, of La Porte passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in Pasadena, TX. He was born in Perryton, TX July 26, 1947. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star in Vietnam. He was a member of Eagles Lodge in La Porte. He leaves behind many friends and a loving family. Survivors include mother, Ruth Boles of Amarillo; sons, Steven Kirk and wife Debricka of Cleveland, TX; Lee Kirk and wife Jennifer of Round Rock; Jody Kirk and wife Sally of San Antonio; brother, Perry Kirk and wife Rhonda of Round Rock; sisters, Jan Link of Dayton, TX; Linda Snyder and husband Robert of North Carolina; Melissa Watts of Friendswood; Sandra Jo Marshall of Baytown; and 7 grand children.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr. Baytown, TX at 1:00 p.m.
