In 1982, "Butch" married his devoted wife, Joyce Lynn Tucker, and together they raised their two sons, Mike and Brian, and two daughters, Laura and Jessica. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting. All who knew him will miss his unique brand of humor and how he always had a quirky adage for everything. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Sterwerf; children, Mike Camp and wife Tammy, Brian Camp and wife Wendy, Laura Camp, and Jessica Hyde and husband Daryl; siblings, Barbara Konkoly and husband Jim, Judy Samford and husband Edward, and Wanda Pogue and husband Craig; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kenneth, Ariel, Ashley, Tiffany, Dane, and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Connor and Cayden; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home.
