A Celebration of life service for Alex Frederick Straway will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Alex was born August 25, 1993 in Newton, New Jersey to Jeffrey and Ann Marie Straway and passed away January 14, 2017 in Beaumont, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey A. Straway and by his grandparents. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Ann Marie Medina and her husband Jesse; daughter, Aubree Straway of Pegosa Springs, Colorado; brother, Wayne Straway and sister, Megan Straway. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and 5 step-brothers also survive. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Alex to the Bryan Hebert Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 3827, Beaumont, Texas 77704.
