Brenda Hayes Paredez

Brenda was born on April 29, 1964 to Garland and Jacquine Hayes in Beaumont, and was a lifelong resident. She married her first and only true love John Paredez on June 6, 1987. She loved to sit on her back patio and watch Runtsberri (her pet rabbit) eat from the orange tree while drinking her coffee. She decorated her home from top to bottom for each holiday occasion. Her favorite vacations were those camping with her family, spending time relaxing on the beach, and going to New Orleans for the weekend. She also enjoyed spending quiet weekends with her husband and her pet dog Harley.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Garland Hayes.

Her survivors include her husband, John, of Beaumont; 2 daughters, Jade Paredez and Jewels Paredez both of Beaumont; 2 sisters, Jacquine Newell and husband Eric of Severn, MD and Sandra Lappo-Culpepper of Louisiana.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather after the services.
