Rev. Donald Louis Rhodes, Sr. passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 97. He was born June 16, 1928, in Orange, Texas to Samuel and Gertrude Rhodes.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Irelia Sells Rhodes; his daughter, Donna Rhodes Hailey; and his son, Donald Louis Rhodes, Jr.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at First Baptist Church 7637 MLK Dr. Orange, Texas 77632.
Visitation will be 11am- 2pm, at the church prior to service.
