Dorothy Mary Potter, age 84, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Orange, Texas. She was born on June 25, 1928 to Lawrence and Ida Trent in Baldwin County, Alabama. She worked in retail and was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Daniel Jackson Potter, and longtime friend Johnny Bradberry.
She is survived by her four sons; Larry Potter Sr. of Sulphur, LA, John Potter and wife Wanda of Orange, Michael Potter and wife Melba, of Orange, Allen Potter and wife Belinda of Orange, nine grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
