Earlene Elizabeth Little, 93, passed away quietly at her residence in Beaumont Texas on Monday July 18, 2011. Earlene was born on September 05, 1917, in Montgomery, LA. She was the child of Howard McIlwain, and Myrta Langley.
She leaves her son, L. B. Little, his wife Debbie of Lumberton, Texas, to cherish her memory. Her granddaughters, Janna Locicero, Karen Little, and two great granddaughters; Lauren and Katie Locicero. Also survived by a half brother Odell McIlwain from Louisiana. Mrs. Little was a schoolteacher for 45 years where she retired in 1983 from Beaumont Independent School District. She also belonged to the Woodland Baptist Church for many years. She will also be missed by her family, and all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from 4pm until 8pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine Street Beaumont, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 22, 2011, at 11 am, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
