Evelyn Howell Bowen “Pookie” passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2012 in Sour Lake, Texas.
“Pookie” was born in Edinburg, Texas on September 17, 1936 to the late Oscar Allen Moore and Lila Minnie Novotny.
She is survived by her sister, Nina LeBlanc; brothers, William, George and Garvin Moore; daughter, Elaine Landry; son, David Howell; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for “Pookie” will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012; at 11:00 a.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
