Frances Elizabeth Norsworthy

Frances Norsworthy, 85 , of Beaumont, lovingly known as “Candy Lady” passed away Tuesday July 2, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 13, 1928 to her parents Walter and Helen Lapcis Owczarxak who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her husband Billy Norsworthy and two brothers. Mrs. Norsworthy was a sixty-two year resident of the Beaumont area and attended Christian Fellowship Worship Center of Beaumont. Her passionate hobby was playing Bingo in Mid County seven days a week for the past sixteen years. Frances was a permit department secretary for the City of Beaumont having worked there for thirty-one years.

Surviving Mrs. Norsworthy are her two daughters, Monica Wise and her husband Larry of Beaumont , and Edith (Edie) Harrington of Nederland, three sisters,Irene Adamski and husband Eddie of Schererville Indiana, Virg Bystryski and husband Hank of Chicago, Illinois, and Dorothy Kapelinski of Las Vegas, Nevada, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin on Saturday July 5, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
