Gloria Joyce Moyer, 99, of Houston, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at her residence. A native and longtime resident of Beaumont, Gloria was a homemaker. Gloria also enjoyed watching the news, hallmark movies, scrolling on Facebook, and especially traveling to Colorado with her family.
A Celebration of Gloria's Life graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Moyer, daughter Cheryl Sharp, parents Ogden Kyle Jones, Sr., and Lillian Courts Jones, brother Ogden Kyle Jones, Jr., and her sister Cleo Redford.
Gloria is survived by her grandsons, John Sharp and his wife Pamela Sicke of Houston, and Yusuf Sharp and his wife Virginia "Ginger" Kuhns of Ashburn, VA., two great grandchildren Sheridan Stroud and husband Reece of Conroe, Sarah Sharp of Ashburn, VA., and one great-great grandson Preston Stroud.
Gloria will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
