

Harry “Muffin” Seiler, Jr., 80, an eleven year resident of Village Mills, Texas coming from the Beaumont and Lumberton areas, passed away on Sunday January 29, 2017 in Woodville. He was born on September 24, 1936 in Beaumont, Texas to his parents Harry Dave Seiler, Sr. and Marjorie Nita McGee Seiler who preceded him in death.
Mr. Seiler was a Personnel/Safety Manager for Jacob Engineering.
He was a Baptist by faith and attended the Wildwood Baptist Church in Village Mills. Mr. Seiler was a former member of the Y.M.B.L. of Beaumont, the past President of the Beaumont Rotary Club, and past President of Goodwill Industries.
He loved sports especially was an avid golfer and also a high school basketball referee.
He is survived by his loving wife; Peggy Jean Seiler of Village Mills, four sons; Michael Seiler and wife Karen of Mansfield, David Seiler and wife Michelle of Fullerton, CA., Terry Knight and wife Julie of Long Tree, Colorado, Timothy Knight and wife Bo of Vancouver, Washington, daughters; Sherrie Teasley and fiance’ Nick Fielder of Beaumont, and Melissia Berry of Orangefield. There are also surviving fourteen grandchildren; Jennifer Knight, Megan Seiler, Justin Knight, Emily Toups and husband Allen, Madison Seiler, Lexis Seiler, Bailey Berry, Garrett Seiler, Jeremy Teasley, Katie Teasley, Brayden Berry, Savannah Seiler, Sarah Teasley, Samson Seiler, and one great grandson; Trey Toups.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life funeral services will be held on Thursday February 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
