

He was a former resident of Beaumont, TX. and currently resided in Weimar, TX.
J.A. was preceded in death by his mother and father; wife, Emily Irene Sisk; grandson, Jimmy Lynn Dunigan and stepson, Timmy Kasemeyer.
J.A. is survived by his wife, Beverly Sisk, of Weimar, TX; son, James Arthur Sisk III & wife Sandy of Lumberton, TX; daughter, Sherry Sanford and husband Don of Anahuac, TX; son, Mike Sisk and wife Lou of Baytown, TX; stepsons, Donny Kasemeyer, Danny and wife Suzi Kasemeyer, Douglas and wife Cheryle Kasemeyer all of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Michael Morgan, James Arthur Sisk IV and wife Jennifer, Jessica Johnson and husband Frank, Jeremie Sisk and wife Kady, Stacy Smalley and husband Derrick, Shantel English, Michael Sisk and wife Rachel, Crystal Dunigan; step grandchildren, Rebecca Robertson and husband Josh, Zeb, Jessie Ray, Justin Kasemeyer and Leah Franklin;
great grandchildren, Josie, Julia, Jay and Joseph Sisk, Garrett, Gunner and Gracie Johnson, Pacey, Mabrey and Kinley Sisk, C.J, Brendan and Dawson Dunigan, Cooper, Cutter, Coleman and Emily Smalley, Emily, Addison English and Ava Sisk; sisters, Charletta Dunn, Jackie Richardson and Geraldine Redmon; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 5, 2010, from 5:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 6, 2010, at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be James Arthur Sisk IV, Jeremie Sisk, Michael Morgan, Frank Johnson, Derrick Smalley, Michael Sisk and Robert English.
J.A. was a decorated veteran of the Korean War and received an Honorable discharge from the armed forces.
J.A. joined Bricklayers Local 13 where he was a 50 year Gold Card member. He worked for Leavesley McCullum refractory, Hartney Construction and U.S Steel before opening his own company Texas Refractory Company.
J.A. was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a kind and compassionate gentleman. He will be greatly missed by his entire family who loved him dearly.
