Jerry Wayne Traylor

Mr. Traylor was born on August 24, 1944 in Natchitoches, LA to George and Mary Opal Traylor. He was a retired craftsman for Goodyear Chemical. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Sharon Hannah on June 25, 1981 in Louisiana. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His survivors include his wife, Sharon of Vidor; 2 sons, Floyd Jiminez, Shane Jiminez and wife Lisa all of Vidor; 4 daughters, Brandi Walther and husband Chris, Melissa Jiminez all of Vidor, Tina Jiminez of Seabrook, Robin Baker and husband Ricky of Tomball; a brother, George Wesley Traylor and wife Cathy of Beaumont; a sister, Barbara Williams of Beaumont; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
