LaVerne H. Dyer, 93 of Dallas went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2014 while in the Presbyterian Hospital, where she volunteered for 15 years. Family visitation will be held on July 7, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243, (972) 238-7111. Funeral service will be Thursday July 10 at 10 am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703, (409) 892-5912. Visitation will be thirty minutes before funeral and burial will follow funeral.
LaVerne Dyer is a native and former resident of Beaumont. Later, she moved to Dallas where she lived for 45 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Dean Dyer, Sr., and six brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Edward Dean Dyer, Jr., daughter, Dianne E Epperson and her husband, Larry E Epperson, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
