She will be remembered as a friend and lover of all animals. Her family would describe her as a strong, feisty firecracker who was bold and daring in her life. Linda was a great listener and loved to spend time with her grandchildren making crafts and laughing. She enjoyed gardening, ever known for her green thumb, she took such care to nurse all plants back to life. Linda donated her time and money to many charitable organizations including the Arbor Foundation. Her family will treasure all the memories that were made with “Little Mother”, and “Granny”, whether it was shopping, baking, fishing, or traveling.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Christiano and Marion Wade Greenleaf and her husband Harold; her loving husband Jim Coster; sister Sandra Hall and her husband Ernie Hall.
Left to remember Linda’s memory is her children, Michael Maronen, Jeffrey Maronen and wife Jullie, Laurie Umphrey and husband Bart, Jimmy Coster and wife Sandy, and Jeannie Coster; grandchildren, Joseph Maronen, Joshua Maronen, Lindsay Childers, Randy Childers, Chris Maronen, Kalyn Maronen, Kendell Maronen, Brook Umphrey, Macy Umphrey, Briana Coster, Jada Maronen, Jaden Maronen, and Luke Umphrey; great-grandchildren, Mya Maronen, Ava Maronen, Adalynn Maronen, Ashton Maronen, and Maya Maronen; brothers, Alan Greenleaf and wife Sally, and Harold Greenleaf Jr. and wife Jo; and her furbabies, Molly and Annie.
A Gathering to Celebrate Linda’s Life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on April 27, at 10:00am.
