

When Louis was in high school, he pitched for the South Park Greenies. After high school, Louis served in the United States Navy during World War II. He umpired high school baseball and officiated high school football games. He later worked for the United States Postal Service and eventually retired as a United States Customs Inspector. Louis was a member of the Lion’s Club. He loved animals. He also loved to travel, watch baseball, go to the casino with friends, and gather with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Agnes Glach; his wife Elois Glach; his son George Glach; his brother Steve Glach; his sister Annie Quarles; and three half-brothers, Joe Praznik, John Praznik, and Frank Praznik.
Louis is survived by his son Bobby Glach and his wife Donna Glach; his grandchildren Michael Glach and his girlfriend Staci Orta, Cory Glach and his wife Pam Glach, Mark Busceme and his wife Nancy Busceme, Jonathan Busceme and his girlfriend Meagan Osborne; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Glach, Cameron Glach, Ava Busceme, and Bayne Busceme; his caregiver of over two years Melissa Halbert and his caregiver Becky Howell; and long-time friend John Mason.
Pallbearers will be Michael Glach, Cory Glach, Jonathan Busceme, Mark Busceme, Don Johnson, and John Mason.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas.
