Mary Gloria Church, 89, a lifelong resident of Beaumont passed away on Friday April 14, 2017. Mary was born on Wednesday October 12, 1927 in Beaumont, Texas to her parents Henry Clifton Courts and Gertrude Matilda Bonin Courts who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Norman H. Church, two brothers, Herman Courts, and Henry Courts.
Mary enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a Christian and a devoted member of Praise Church in Beaumont.
Mary is survived by her son, Mark Church of Midwest City, Oklahoma, three daughters; Norma Broussard and husband Gary, Diane Comte and husband Thomas, and Darlene Koch all of Beaumont, sister, Letty Vandewater of Beaumont, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday April 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life funeral service will be on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
