Mary L Peden

She is preceded in death by her Husband of 65 years, Thomas Jearl Peden. Her children, Thomas Jearl (little Jearl) Peden, Corless Ann McBride and Peggy Jo Holman and her granddaughter Christy Anne Peden. Her brothers and sisters, Anthony Latino, Josephine Mazzola, Jennie Mazzola, Baby Luke Latino, Luke Latino, Lillie Talllina, Vincent Latino, Rose Piazza and Frances McDaniel.

She is survived by her children Charles Peden of Lumberton, Jimmy Peden and wife Barbara of New Caney, her "Baby Boy" Robert Peden and his wife Stacy of Lumberton, and son in law Kenneth Holman of New Caney.

Her grandchildren Ronnie McBryde and wife Nicole, Lisa McBryde Swanson and husband George, Julie Peden Rigsby and husband Kyle, Shawna Holman , Tyler Peden, Morgan Peden Judice and husband Blake and Madison Peden Kane and husband Brady.

Great Grandchildren Katrine Rigsby, Jessica Rigsby, Sheila Rigsby, Joshua Rigsby, Dylan Waugh, Noah Powell, Madelyn McBryde, Ashley Swanson, Colton McBryde, Sofia Judice, Luca Judice, Bella Judice, Giana Judice, Nico Kane, and Bryce Kane.

Numerous nieces and nephews who loved their beloved Aunt Mary.

Mary was at first generation Sicilian-American. She was the epitome of a homemaker and mother. Her house was always spotless and smelled of Pine o Pine. She loved to cook for her family and always made everyone's favorite. Every meal included a pie or a cake. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. She loved the Lord and was an avid Bible reader, Her "out loud" prayers will always be remembered. Her and Jearl took many trips to Branson and the Smoky Mountains. She was never one to sit still and was constantly on the move whether it be cooking, cleaning, walking on her treadmill or riding her exercise bike even into her 90s. She was a blessing to those who knew her, loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A gathering of friends and family for Mary will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703. A Celebration of Mary's life will occur Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
